Job summary

A prominent financial institution seeks a Regulatory Reporting Analyst for its Abu Dhabi location. Responsible for ensuring the accurate submission of CBRB data and compliance with Central Bank guidelines. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of banking experience, excellent Excel skills, and effective communication abilities in English, with Arabic knowledge preferred. This role offers the chance to contribute to internal reporting systems and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of banking experience in the preparation and submission of CBRB reports.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory guidelines and approved SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate monthly submission of CBRB data to the Central Bank of the UAE.
  • Handle queries professionally from within the bank and CBUAE.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and IT Department to automate data processes.
  • Compile and present monthly MIS reports on improvement areas.

Skills

Advanced knowledge in MS Excel

Overview

Role: Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Location: Dubai

Role purpose:

The position is responsible for providing value added services accurately, efficiently and within established turnaround time, policies and procedures.

Ensure that necessary information through MIS is provided to Central Bank, internal/external auditors & other internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate monthly submission of CBRB data to the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) in compliance with regulatory guidelines, approved SOPs, and defines SLAs.
  • Handle queries from within the bank and/ or CBUAE with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and the IT Department to automate the CBRB data gathering process.
  • Ensure that all required amendments to CBRB data extracts are carried out in accordance with requirements defined by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
  • Compile and present a monthly MIS report outlining areas for improvement.
  • To conduct UAT on the data refinement requests made through the ITD department.
  • Perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Submission of CBRB data while ensuring accuracy in strict adherence to policies and procedures and SLA.
  • No major audit findings from Internal or CBUAE auditors.
Specialist skills / technical knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of ADIB’s retail and corporate products.
  • A thorough understanding of Bank’s Policies and product knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
  • Effective communication skills in English and preferably knowledge in Arabic.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Previous experience
