A leading engineering company in Dubai is looking for a Refrigeration CAD Specialist to support their Design and Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and five years of experience in designing industrial refrigeration systems. Key responsibilities include drafting design documentation and creating 3D models using Autodesk software. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential to successfully manage projects. Qualifications

What you will do:

The Refrigeration CAD Specialist supports the iREF Middle East And Africa Design and Engineering team by assisting with developing design documentation related to design supply and build Industrial Refrigeration Systems and iREF equipment project opportunities such as Cold Stores Dairy & Poultry Plants Quick Frozen Food Processing Plants Fruits & Vegetable Storage and Processing. Plants Oil & Gas Projects and others.

Design Documentation

Design Documentation include but are not limited to: Process Flow Diagrams Single Line Diagrams & P&IDs; Equipment Position Drawings & Builders Work Layouts; 3D model for Piping Cable Trays Equipment & Pipe support Structures; 2D layouts Section Views and Isometric (3D) views; BOM for Valves Pipes Cables Cable Trays and other consumables.

Part of CAD Specialist Responsibilities includes: Design review and coordination with Documentation provided by Civil & MEP Contractor/Client Developing As Built Documentation Developing and updating of Standard Drawings Templates Tools for operational improvements etc.

This role will receive direction coaching support from Engineering Manager and D&E Team during continuous team collaboration.

How you will do it:

• Drafting of Process flow diagram with MS Visio or other design tool
• Drafting of P&IDs using Autodesk Plant 3D P&ID
• Drafting of Electrical Single Line Diagram using Autocad or other design tool
• Developing of Piping & Cable Tray 3D model using Autodesk Autocad MEP Plant 3D Revit
• Piping Layouts Cable Tray drawings Builder works Layout Using Autodesk Software
• Dimension sketches of vessels Vessels and Equipment Support structures using Autodesk Invertor or other Autodesk software.
• Provides technical support with basic Pipe Cable tray size calculation.
• Performs site-surveys to develop As Build Documentation.
• Effectively communicate project documentation progress to all team member that has a need to know.
• In addition to the above mentioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

What we look for:

Required

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent through experience.
• Five years experience in designing industrial refrigeration systems or large complex commercial refrigeration systems.
• Experience with Autodesk software including Autocad Autocad MEP Autocad Plant 3D Revit Invertor
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (with emphasis on Word Excel and Visio) and basic Windows operating system environment.
• Experience with large assemblies piping and plants in 3D
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage a large and diverse number of projects with professionalism cooperation and persistence.
