Qualifications

• 35 years of professional experience in piling.
• Expertise in piling shoring specifications and methodologies.
• Professional level of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review the tenders.
• Check specifications.
• Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities.
• Analyze subcontractors/suppliers quotes and prepare comparative statements.
• Attend to post tender correspondences and assist in the preparation of clarifications.

Our client is from a large construction company is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor Tendering with experience in managing all costs relating to the organization projects from the initial calculations to the final figures, minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Responsibilities

• Review the tenders
• Check specifications
• Read technical data, analyze and takeoff quantities
• Supplier/subcontractor correspondence
• Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
• Analyze subcontractors/suppliers quotes and prepare comparative statements
• Attend to post tender correspondences and assist in the preparation of clarifications

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Functional Experience: Expertise in different types of piling shoring specifications and methodologies.
• Basic Knowledge of Contract Conditions: FIDIC and Quantity Surveying.
• Professional Experience: 35 years of professional experience in piling.
• Languages: Professional level of English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and CCS Candy is an advantage.
• Skill in operating Project Planning Software is an advantage (Primavera, MS Project, etc).
