About the job

We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist for the powder coating and chemical lab for immediate hiring for our Client, "One of the world's leading paints and coatings manufacturers".

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will assist the Shift Supervisor by testing and analyzing the product quality to ensure that the products are in accordance with relevant specifications.

This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and reports directly to the Quality Control Supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Test offline and online samples from Production and register on time in IFS system
  • Ensure online adjustments are in line with formulation guidelines
  • Analyze quality test results according to given methods and compare results with specification
  • Issue Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and distribute as and when required
  • Assist with storage of retained samples and ensure old samples are removed and discarded upon expiry
  • Ensure that all instruments have been calibrated according to the required standard
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or any related field
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in the Laboratory preferred in Powder Coatings
