Job summary

A manufacturing company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced QHSE Officer to oversee and improve Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental systems. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with legislation, promote a positive safety culture, and maintain ISO standards. Key responsibilities include health and safety management, environmental performance monitoring, and quality system maintenance. Certifications in NEBOSH and ISO standards are required, alongside strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QHSE roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
• Conduct risk assessments and accident investigations.
• Maintain the site Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
• Monitor environmental performance and KPIs.
• Coach and mentor staff on QHSE performance.

Skills

NEBOSH IGC or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety

Environmental qualification (e.g., ISO 14001 Internal Auditor)

ISO 9001:2015 Lead or Internal Auditor certification

Strong communication skills

Proficient in MS Office
