The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 24 years of experience in the HSE Construction field. Role Title: QHSE Engineer

Role Type: Outsourced Temporary Full Time OnSite

Contract Period: 6 Months (Temporary Contract)

Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Expected Start Date: September 1st, 2024

Monthly Salary Range: AED 8000

Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to supervise and support the QHSE team within the Projects Line of Business (LOB).

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 24 years of experience in the HSE Construction field
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Certificates in Specialist training such as OSHA, IOSH, NEBOSH IGC (preferred)
  • Strong communication, decision-making, teamwork, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Role Responsibilities
  1. Implement client HSE management systems
  2. Conduct daily inspections and safety walks, providing feedback to improve safety and reduce risks
  3. Conduct HSE training to enhance team capabilities
  4. Oversee all site construction and related activities
  5. Prepare regular risk assessments for facilities
  6. Ensure timely submission of all HSE reports
  7. Monitor safety rule compliance among personnel
  8. Ensure work permit system implementation
  9. Inspect tools and equipment for safety and standards compliance
  10. Follow up on contractor work and permits
  11. Participate in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and report preparation
  12. Track environmental metrics, waste segregation, and disposal
  13. Coordinate with government bodies and local authorities for HSE compliance
  14. Complete and ensure compliance of all project-related documentation
