Job summary

A trusted marine services supplier in Dubai is looking for a Purchasing Officer to source and procure marine equipment and safety gear. The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have at least 2 years of experience in marine services or supplies within UAE/GCC. Responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers and managing compliance documentation. Immediate joiners are preferred. A competitive salary of up to 5.5K AED is offered.

Job Description

• Source, evaluate, and procure marine equipment, safety gear PPE, hydraulic components, and other supplies needed.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors (local & international) to negotiate prices and terms.
• Ensure procured items meet the technical specifications.
• Handle documentation and compliance — invoices, import/export, supplier certifications and receipts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business / Supply-Chain / Logistics / Marine / Technical field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE/GCC experience within Marine Services/Supplies.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
