Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading procurement activities on-site, which includes managing both materials and services. Key responsibilities include :

  • Establishing and maintaining a network of suppliers for spares, tools, consumables, and services.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements for materials and services.
  • Regularly following up with suppliers to address material deliveries, services, claims, and complaints.
  • Tracking and reporting on supplier performance.
  • Collaborating with the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team to identify at least two qualified suppliers for each material / service.
  • Working with the O&M team to identify and establish preferred suppliers.
  • Continuously striving to reduce lead times and streamline work processes.
  • Monitoring and reporting on material and service purchases on a monthly and yearly basis.
Qualifications
  • High school or technical diploma in any discipline.
  • Certification in material management or procurement.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a purchaser, experience in O & M is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in CMMS, Outlook, and Excel.
