Job summary

A leading oil and gas company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the Permit to Work system. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in an ADNOC or similar environment. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and providing training on safety protocols. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, possibly under hazardous conditions, and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry preferably in an ADNOC or similar oil field environment.
• Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and working in classified environments.
• Certification in instrumentation or control systems is a plus.

• Administer the Permit to Work (PTW) system ensuring necessary permits are in place.
• Review and approve permit applications for compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify safety compliance.
