The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing operations and maintenance projects to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant and pipeline performance. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience in gas plant and pipeline operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute operations and maintenance projects in line with company objectives and safety standards.
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance activities for plants and pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Lead, supervise, and manage technical teams, contractors, and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop maintenance strategies, schedules, and budgets to minimize downtime and maximize asset life.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and operational issues.
- Utilize SAP PM for maintenance planning, tracking, and reporting (preferred).
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant operations and maintenance experience.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in operations and maintenance of gas plants and pipelines.
- Proven supervisory and man‑management experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of gas plant and pipeline systems.
- Experience in maintenance planning and asset management.
- SAP PM experience preferred.
