About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver retail and building projects across the Group. In this role, you will manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements, quality standards, budgets, and timelines. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, principals, landlords, consultants, and contractors to bring our retail visions to life.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with strong project leadership and technical experience in construction and fit-out within the retail environment.

Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
  • Develop comprehensive project execution plans in collaboration with Business, Design, and Developers.
  • Manage end-to-end project timelines, milestones, design deliverables, and construction phases.
  • Lead tendering activities, including vendor selection, evaluation, and recommendations.
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct design reviews and coordinate with all stakeholders including Marketing, Landlords, and authorities.
  • Monitor progress against project programs and provide ongoing updates to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Financial & Contract Management
  • Work closely with QS to prepare CAPEX and validate completed works for accurate payments.
  • Manage contract deliverables and ensure full close-out upon project completion.
  • Control budgets and ensure efficient use of resources to meet financial targets.
Operational Excellence
  • Prepare weekly reporting on project and store rollout progress.
  • Identify risks, provide solutions, and drive timely resolution.
  • Conduct snagging, final inspections, and ensure smooth handovers to Operations.
People Leadership
  • Guide and mentor junior team members to drive high performance and develop future talent.
Qualifications

About You

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent construction-related technical field.
  • Alternatively, a relevant tertiary qualification with extensive industry experience.
Experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in the construction industry, with recent years in a project management capacity.
  • Proven experience delivering retail commercial fit-out projects is a MUST, preferably in department stores.
  • Excellent in MS Office applications, Microsoft Project or similar and Auto CAD.
