VAM Systems is currently looking for Project Manager - Payment for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 6-10 years of proven experience in project management with a preference for PMP certification.
• In-depth knowledge and hands‑on experience with the following UAE Central Bank payment solutions and cross‑border SWIFT payments:
  • UAEFTS
  • IPI
  • NPSS
  • WPS
  • ICCS
  • DDS
  • GPSSA
  • AAFAQ PAYMENTS SYSTEM (GCCRTGS)
  • SWIFT Alliance
• Strong understanding of payment systems financial messaging standards (ISO 20022) and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in implementing payment solutions within the UAE financial sector.
• Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the UAE Central Bank, financial institutions and technology partners.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess and mitigate project risks proactively to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project success.
• Change Management: Anticipate and manage changes to project scope, timeline or resources ensuring that stakeholders are informed and aligned.
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance measures to guarantee that project deliverables meet the highest standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership: Motivate and mentor project team members providing guidance and support to drive project success.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular project status reports, communicate effectively with stakeholders and elevate issues or concerns as needed.
