Job DescriptionThe Project Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and delivering infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, water, drainage, sewerage, bridges, etc.) from initiation to completion. The role involves ensuring timely execution, cost control, quality compliance, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Monitor progress against project milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to contract requirements and project specifications.
Stakeholder Management- Act as the main point of contact with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate effective communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership- Lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, site managers, QS, HSE, and support staff.
- Assign responsibilities, set targets, and monitor performance.
- Mentor and develop team members to achieve professional excellence.
Cost, Quality & Safety Management- Control project costs and manage variations/claims.
- Ensure work is executed to required quality standards and specifications.
- Enforce compliance with HSE policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
Regulatory & Contractual Compliance- Obtain necessary approvals, permits, and NOCs from authorities.
- Manage contractual obligations, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure proper documentation, correspondence, and record keeping.
