Job summary

A construction management firm in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a Project Manager with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management and over 5 years of experience in commercial construction. Responsibilities include developing project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring quality control throughout all phases. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the glazing industry and will be responsible for generating bid packages and overseeing installation activities. Job description

• Develop and maintain project plan based on stakeholder requirements, site schedules, and budget
  
• Coordinate with project team to determine potential value engineering opportunities for each project
  
• Provide strategic direction to project team to mitigate risk and maximize profit
  
• Generate detailed bid packages for vendors and award subcontracts to qualified vendors
  
• Oversees integration of all project changes
  

Project Execution

• Monitor progress against plan, maintaining schedule, budget, and performance standards of all parties, initiating necessary actions or controls as applicable
  
• Seek opportunities to maximize value add to each project by developing and building customer relationships
  
• Responsible for all quality control measures throughout fabrication and installation phases of project
  
• Oversees all installation activities
  
• Maintain a high standard of communication with project stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction
  

Project Evaluation

• Generate and publish detailed project costing analysis to conduct monthly project review with leadership team
  
• Complete all specified closeout requirements to ensure prompt release of final payment
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or closely related degree
  
• 5+ of experience working in commercial construction
  
• Experience estimating is preferred
  
• Experience in the glazing industry or misc. metals is preferred
  
• Ability to travel up to 25% within North America
