Overview
Job Purpose: To support the efficient execution of aircraft maintenance inputs by creating detailed work plans, assigning daily targets, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. This role serves as a bridge between CAMO planning (which delivers the work package) and the maintenance production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review work packages from CAMO Planning for scheduled maintenance checks.
- Develop detailed Gantt charts and daily task schedules for base and/or line maintenance events.
- Allocate tasks and targets across shifts and work centers to ensure effective execution and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with BSMs and lead engineers to monitor daily progress and resolve issues.
- Update the execution plan in real time based on task completion, delays, or changes in priorities.
- Ensure adherence to turnaround times (TAT) and critical path timelines.
- Conduct daily and end-of-check reviews and prepare post-maintenance reports, including actual man-hour utilization, delays, deferrals, and findings.
- Maintain up-to-date records of work status in the maintenance management system (AMOS).
- Participate in shift handovers and briefings to maintain alignment among all stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and proposing planning or execution enhancements.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience using project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and maintenance software (AMOS - preferrable, TRAX).
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.
- Proficient in building and managing Gantt charts and detailed schedules. Strong skills in Gantt chart preparation.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning or production control, preferably in a base maintenance environment.
- Understanding of aircraft maintenance processes, though not responsible for airworthiness planning or AMP control.
- Able to analyze maintenance timelines, resource plans, and operational risk.
- Deep understanding of base maintenance operations, hangar workflows, and heavy check coordination.
- Familiar with airline or MRO operations, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
- Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal, across departments and levels.
- Awareness of human factors in aircraft maintenance activities.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple parallel tasks.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on timely execution and accountability.
