Job description

Job Purpose

Product Manager is a professional responsible for setting, prioritizing, and accepting the work generated by a team to ensure the most valuable and proper functionality of the product.

Key Result Responsibilities

• Accountable for the success of delivery, owning the entire product backlog and delivery activities, including grooming development teams and responding to queries promptly.
• Ensures stories are ready before the sprint start, matching definition of ready and having clear acceptance criteria.
• Manages and prioritizes the product backlog in alignment with the product vision and client needs.
• Liaises between business and development teams to deliver continuous value.
• Reviews visual designs developed by the UX team.
• Reviews test cases written by the QA team.
• Stays abreast of market trends and new technologies, researching and conducting comparative analysis with competitors to recommend best practices.
• Monitors the development and product teams' performance and escalates any potential performance deviation to Product Managers.
• Represents ISA in clients’ meetings, soliciting feedback on products and services regularly.
• Performs any other additional duties as directed by the Product Manager or Senior Product Manager.
• Acts as a Product Manager 2 in the absence of Product Manager 2.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent field.
• Certified Scrum Master or Professional Certified Product Owner (optional).
• Solid technical background with understanding of software development.
• Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack and JIRA.
• Fluent in English.

Work Experience

• Minimum four years of experience as a business analyst, QA product owner, UX designer, or architect.
• Aviation domain experience is highly preferred.
• Experienced in writing user stories and business requirements.
• Experienced in Scrum methodology.
• Proven track record of successful on-time delivery.
• Good understanding of UI or UX design.
• Good understanding of software testing, with the ability to review and approve test cases.
