We are recruiting a 'Procurement Specialist' for one of our clients based in Dubai, UAE.

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to advancing global health through innovative research, high-quality medicines, and accessible healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process for CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) categories, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget requirements through monthly meetings to monitor and track CAPEX projects.
  • Drive Procurement Excellence initiatives by optimizing sourcing processes, implementing best practices, and supporting digital procurement tools.
  • Manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations, and ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on procurement KPIs.
  • Raise purchase orders, review contracts, run competitive bidding process, collaborate, and align with stakeholders and finance to close any open orders.
  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards to track key metrics such as spend analysis, savings performance, and supplier KPIs.
  • Manage and update the PR/PO tracker sheet to ensure accurate monitoring of procurement requests, purchase orders, and approvals.
  • Track expected delivery dates for open orders and follow up with other procurement team to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Monitor supplier performance through structured evaluation frameworks and generate periodic performance reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on CAPEX or technical categories
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
