Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Procurement Officer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our procurement department you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process from sourcing to contract management ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies and local regulations.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
  • Analyze market trends pricing and economic factors to forecast and plan future purchases
  • Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their procurement needs
  • Monitor and track order status delivery schedules and inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with company policies UAE regulations and international trade laws
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and implement improvement measures
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in international sourcing and vendor management
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices supply chain management principles and UAE business regulations
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPSM CPM) preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Familiarity with contract management and cost analysis techniques
