We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team and manage indirect procurement activities across various categories.

Key Skills Required
  • Proven experience in sourcing and procuring indirect items such as:
  • Safety & PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • General Services (e.g., cleaning, maintenance)
  • Concrete & Other Ready-Mix Requests
  • Stationery & Office Supplies
  • Trucks & Equipment Spare Parts
  • Facilities Management
  • Vehicle Rentals (Rent-a-Car)
  • Excellent knowledge of the full procurement cycle, including:
  • Supplier Sourcing & Vetting
  • Request for Quotation (RFQ) / Tender Management
  • Price and Contract Negotiation
  • Purchase Order (PO) Management
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
  • Ability to analyze market trends, compare quotes, and negotiate favorable terms and prices.
  • Competence in using procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Handle all stages of the procurement process for assigned indirect categories, from requisition to final delivery and payment.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers. Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure consistent supply and service quality.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed on pricing, product innovations, and supply chain trends related to indirect items.
  • Work closely with various departments (e.g., Operations, HR, and Facilities) to understand their needs and provide timely support.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are properly documented and tracked in the system. Generate regular reports on procurement performance, savings, and key metrics.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
