Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy large-scale GPU and HPC clusters on OCI using Terraform, Ansible, Slurm and Kubernetes.
  • Automate cluster provisioning and software deployments using Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Partner with customers to design scalable solutions for LLM-based platforms and agentic AI.
  • Act as a trusted advisor guiding customers on best practices for cloud adoption.
  • Lead workshops and technical training sessions to enable customer success.
  • Work cross-functionally with product engineering to solve customer challenges.
  • Create and share technical assets like code samples and whitepapers.
  • Collaborate with key AI partners to develop customer-centric solutions.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Principal Cloud Architect with hands‑on expertise in HPC GPU infrastructure and AI platform engineering to help shape the future of accelerated computing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

In this role you’ll work with a range of customers from AI startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, architecting and deploying complex GPU/HPC environments and AI solutions. You’ll play a key role in both pre‑sales consulting and solution delivery, helping drive OCI adoption for high‑performance and AI‑driven workloads.

This is a high‑impact customer‑facing role where deep technical skills meet strategic thinking.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
  • Architect and deploy large‑scale GPU and HPC clusters on OCI using Terraform, Ansible, Slurm and Kubernetes
  • Automate cluster provisioning and software deployments using Infrastructure as Code principles
  • Partner with customers to design scalable solutions for LLM‑based platforms, agentic AI and robotic systems
  • Act as a trusted advisor guiding customers on best practices for cloud adoption, migration and optimization
  • Lead workshops, deep‑dives and technical training sessions to enable customer success
  • Work cross‑functionally with product engineering and support teams to solve customer challenges and shape OCI’s roadmap
  • Create and share technical assets like code samples, demos, blogs and whitepapers
  • Collaborate with key AI partners to co‑develop and deploy customer‑centric solutions
What You Bring
Technical Skills
  • Deep hands‑on experience with GPU/HPC architecture both on‑prem and in the cloud
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform and Ansible
  • Solid understanding of cluster managers (e.g. SLURM, PBS, Bright), Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Experience with RDMA, Infiniband, MPI and distributed storage systems
  • Knowledge of AI/ML platforms, large language models (LLMs) and inference‑serving frameworks
  • Strong cloud‑native background (preferably with OCI or similar platforms)
Business & Leadership Skills
  • 5 years in pre‑sales solution architecture or customer‑facing technical roles
  • Excellent communicator able to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a drive to deliver real‑world solutions
  • Ability to turn complex technical concepts into business‑aligned strategies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
  • Demonstrated thought leadership via speaking, writing or community contributions
  • Experience working directly with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar platforms
