A Post-Doctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering for a cutting-edge research project titled “Plasmonic‑Assisted Carrier Injection: A Pathway to Higher Efficiency in Ferroelectric Hot Carrier Solar Cells.” The work focuses on plasmonic nanostructures, ferroelectric materials, and hot‑carrier dynamics to enhance photovoltaic efficiency beyond conventional limits. Applicants must hold a PhD in Materials Science, Renewable Energy, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with experience in plasmonics, nanofabrication, ferroelectrics, or solar‑cell characterization considered a strong advantage. The appointment is initially for one year starting January 2024 and extendable. Applications are accepted online only, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Skype‑based interview.

Minimum Qualifications
