Job Description

We are collaborating with this organization to identify a proficient PMO professional who will be instrumental in managing a variety of large-scale IT and transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing project governance, ensuring detailed financial oversight, and producing comprehensive reports on portfolio performance. This role requires effective partnerships with senior stakeholders to evaluate project viability, manage budgets, and define delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the governance structures for significant IT and transformation projects, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Implement robust financial tracking processes to evaluate project expenditures and overall financial health.
  • Generate detailed portfolio reports for senior leadership, showcasing crucial performance metrics and project developments.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to analyze projects, oversee budgets, and set precise delivery schedules.
  • Lead project evaluations and apply relevant governance frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support and critically assess Project Managers, ensuring accountability and the successful execution of all project elements.
  • Utilize PMO tools such as MS Project, Power BI, and Jira to strengthen project management practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, fostering the adoption of best practices in project management.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in a PMO role, particularly within IT or transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project governance, financial oversight, and portfolio reporting.
  • Background in managing IT projects, preferably within the construction sector or related fields.
  • Outstanding organizational capabilities with a strong emphasis on detail-oriented work.
