Job description

Archibat HR is seeking a Planning Engineer for one of our clients, an international architectural design firm, in Dubai.

The PE will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure the timely delivery of high-profile hospitality and residential projects. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to keep projects on track from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and identify potential delays.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Coordinate with project teams to update schedules based on site progress and changes.
• Analyze impacts of design changes, delays, or disruptions on project timelines.
• Attend project meetings and provide planning-related inputs and forecasts.
• Assist in claims analysis and extension-of-time requests, if needed.
• Ensure compliance with project planning procedures and standards.

Required profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven experience on large-scale hospitality and residential projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies and sequences.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.

Preferred

• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCP, PSP) is a plus.
• Experience with Lean Construction / Last Planner System is advantageous.
• Driving license in UAE.
