Job Description
Responsible for providing safe, effective, evidence-based, and comprehensive physiotherapy services.
Responsibilities
- Assist the senior physiotherapist to ensure the physiotherapy service to the assigned units is efficient and effective.
- Contribute to the sustainable implementation of plans (strategic, financial, quality/patient safety, accessibility/marketing, manpower/cultural diversity, risk, infection control, equipment/technology) for effective clinical practice and patient satisfaction.
- Receive guidance and development from supervisors on objective setting, appraisals, skill and equipment competency, training, duty rosters, annual leave, supervision, and delegation of tasks.
- Ensure awareness and alignment with the organization’s vision, mission, values, licensing, policies, clinical guidelines, mandatory competencies (e.g., BLS, Infection Control), and compliance guidelines.
- Proactively identify clinical and environmental risks.
- May take responsibility for day-to-day operations of assigned units in the absence of a senior.
- Maintain clinical competency in assigned specialist areas.
- Develop effective teaching skills for facilitating interns/students.
- Deliver high-standard specialized clinical care using evidence-based practice, including assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, evaluation, and discharge planning.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and care providers to maximize rehabilitative potential, including explanation, instruction, persuasion, motivation, and reassurance.
- Maintain and develop up-to-date clinical and professional knowledge according to organizational requirements.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment following proper procedures.

Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience as a Physiotherapist in a large hospital, with relevant experience in acute care or rehabilitation facilities, including ICU, medical/surgical, pediatrics.
- UAE National upon completion of internship.
Educational Qualifications:
- BSc in Physiotherapy or a graduate from an accredited diploma course (minimum 3 years).
- Current National License.
Desired:
- Master’s in Rehabilitation Services or related clinical MSc (which may reduce required experience by 1 year).
