Job Overview

GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center is seeking a highly motivated and qualified UAE National Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. The Clinical Pharmacist will play a vital role in delivering patientcentered pharmaceutical care optimizing medication management and ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficacy in treatments for diabetes and related conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Medication Management and Optimization

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy appropriateness and compliance with evidencebased guidelines.
• Provide personalized medication counseling to patients ensuring they understand their treatment plans and proper medication use.

Clinical Support

• Assist healthcare providers with selecting appropriate medications based on clinical guidelines and patientspecific factors.
• Support the management of complex cases involving polypharmacy or drug interactions.

Regulatory Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all medications are stored prepared and dispensed in compliance with UAE regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
• Stay updated on new pharmaceutical developments and changes in regulatory requirements.

Education and Training

• Act as a resource for patients and staff on diabetesrelated pharmaceutical care.

Quality Improvement

• Participate in audits quality assurance programs and initiatives to improve medication safety and patient outcomes.
• Analyze and report clinical outcomes related to pharmacotherapy.

Requirements

Preferred Skills
