Job Description

We are looking for a responsible Pharmacist to help provide excellent health care services to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing advice on medications, maintaining records of medication use and advising customers on the selection of over-the-counter drugs. Our ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Receive prescriptions from customers and verify accuracy of dosage instructions
  • Dispense medications according to prescriptions, including correct dosage amounts
  • Advise customers on the selection of over-the-counter drugs according to symptoms
  • Answer customer questions regarding side effects, proper storage and usage instructions for medications
  • Ensure correct labeling of medication containers with patient information, drug name, dose and directions for use
  • Monitor inventory levels of drugs in the pharmacy; restock shelves as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions involving the sale or return of medications
  • Follow all safety procedures when handling hazardous materials such as drugs or cleaning products
