Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage purchase orders and supplier relationships. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in supply chain, a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, and strong negotiation and analytical skills. This role requires effective communication and collaboration across functions to ensure timely procurements, along with a focus on continuous improvement in procurement operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Procurement or supply chain certification is a plus.
• Experience in procurement software and SAP Ariba is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and validate purchase orders for all pharmaceutical raw materials.
• Ensure purchased products meet specifications and negotiate purchase terms.
• Monitor day-to-day purchase requests and deliveries.
• Report on procurement key performance indicators.
