Job description

The Maternal & Infant Care (MIC) Modality Leader is responsible for the commercial success in MESA (Middle East & Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

  1. Managing portfolio profitability from top line to sales, margin & operating profit.
  2. Establish & coordinate with EAGM HQ in rolling out initiatives, NPI launches & growth strategies in developing the segment.
  3. Work closely with channel partners to build, deploy & execute strategies, marketing programs, and improve market visibility.
  4. Responsible for product positioning based on market & product segmentation, understanding market/competitive dynamics, and building value propositions with marketing support to drive differentiators.
  5. Build relationships with KOLs, develop strong promoters, manage customer relations & satisfaction. Serve as the expert go-to person for MIC modality with channel partners.
  6. Manage the funnel of opportunities, develop strategies for large deals, and be accountable for accurate quarterly/yearly forecasting. Oversee the entire P&L including orders, sales, contribution margin, base costs, and operating margin.
  7. Work effectively in a matrix organization with cross-functional teams, demonstrating horizontal team player behavior.
  8. Continuously develop deep clinical and technical knowledge, including awareness of current and future trends in healthcare technology and funding mechanisms.

Qualifications/Requirements & Desired Characteristics

  • Extensive experience in medical devices and solutions sales and/or clinical marketing, especially in NICU and L&D markets.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and working within healthcare markets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to work across cultures.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience managing in a matrix organization.
  • Successful track record in high-tech product sales/solutions.
  • Ability to travel within Saudi Arabia and Middle East.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
