Join Atlantis Resorts as a Pastry Chef, where you'll work alongside a talented team to maintain and enhance culinary standards in a luxury environment. As a Pastry Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef and Pastry team to ensure that food and pastry standards are consistently maintained and improved. You will demonstrate creative baking and decorating talents by personally performing tasks and leading staff in preparing quality pastries for all areas. Additionally, you will develop daily specials, offer a variety of menu items including local specialties, and plan pastry inventory based on forecasted business levels.
You will collaborate with the food and beverage management team to enhance guest and colleague satisfaction while managing the operating budget. Ensuring sanitation, equipment maintenance, proper food rotation, and adherence to food safety standards is essential. You will also work with the Marketing & Public Relations team to support revenue growth and social media exposure.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef, Pastry Chef, or currently in a similar role within an international luxury hotel or restaurant. A culinary certificate and accredited education are required, along with comprehensive knowledge of HACCP and general health & safety standards.
