• Calculate material requirements for painting tasks.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed.

Job description

Responsible for painting of surfaces i.e walls roof of commercial and residential building and required perform touch ups whenever required.

Responsibilities

Strategic:

N/A

Operational:

• Preparing painting surfaces by washing or cleaning, repairing holes and removing old paints.
• Mixing, matching and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces.
• Applying paint to the surface area to give paint coating using appropriate brushes and tools.
• Taping off the areas as needed, preparing the surrounding area by covering cloth or plastic to prevent mess and keeping proper housekeeping of area.
• Calculating amount of paint and other material required in proportion to required painting area.
• Clearing and cleaning off the area when painting assigned task is completed.
• Attending Tool Box Talk and to perform work with all safety rules and regulations as applicable.

• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

• PREFERRED : Technical Certificate in relevant field with relevant Work Experience.
• MINIMUM :

Knowledge & Skill:

• Ability to read and understand blue print and technical drawings.

Experience:

• PREFERRED : Constructions or Maintenance or FM industry.
• MINIMUM : Relevant Experience 2 to 4 yrs.
