Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient evaluations to assess sports‑related injuries through physical examinations and medical history reviews.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans that may include both surgical and non‑surgical intervention strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform orthopaedic procedures relevant to sports medicine, such as arthroscopic surgeries and joint reconstruction, as necessary.
- Implement rehabilitation protocols and collaborate with physiotherapists and trainers to facilitate recovery and return to sports.
- Educate patients on injury prevention techniques, recovery strategies, and proper conditioning practices.
- Engage in patient outreach and community programs that promote health and fitness among athletes and the general populace.
- Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and innovations in sports medicine for continual improvement of care standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellowship in Sports Medicine.
- Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sports medicine and orthopaedic practice.
- Proven expertise in sports‑related surgical and non‑surgical treatment methods.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, musculoskeletal injuries, and rehabilitation techniques.
