Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic OT Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating theatre procedures with a specialization in ophthalmology. You will be responsible for assisting ophthalmic surgeons ensuring OT readiness maintaining sterility and providing high standards of pre-operative and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre for ophthalmic procedures ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready.
• Assist surgeons during ophthalmic surgeries including cataract glaucoma retinal and other eye-related procedures.
• Monitor patient condition before during and after surgery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT Nurse preferably with exposure to ophthalmic procedures.
