Operations Software Engineer

Abu Dhabi

A multi‑strategy hedge fund is building out its operations technology function and is hiring Operations Software Engineers to develop the systems that support the full trade lifecycle. You’ll work closely with Operations, Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Compliance teams to build scalable, reliable tools covering trade capture, reconciliation, settlement, P&L, and reporting, as well as integrations with brokers, fund administrators, and custodians. Both individual contributor and team lead roles are available.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years’ software engineering experience in financial services
• Strong skills in Python or Java
• Experience with SQL and data modelling
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Nice to have

• FIX / SWIFT, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), data pipelines or workflow tools
