• Develop and possess a deep understanding and extensive knowledge of the company’s processes and products or services to be able to fulfill management’s expectations and goals.

• Developing and executing operational strategies aligned with company objectives, including budget management, resource allocation, and performance metrics.

• Defining a clear vision and mission statement for the handling of the business.

• Conducting a SWOT analysis, identifying target markets, analysing customer trends, setting measurable goals to optimize operations, and continuously monitoring performance through key performance indicators.

• Able to consider different perspectives, alternative outcomes or varying strategies to make sound decisions on the job. Identifying and implementing operational improvements through data analysis, workflow optimization, and lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Operations managers must be able to anticipate issues that can affect successful outcomes and approach challenges with creative solutions that help teams meet objectives.
