REPORTING TO: Compliance & Master Data Director
POSITION PURPOSE:
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the business with SAP ERP system, focusing on Master Data for Materials, Pricing, and Suppliers. The role involves monitoring and analyzing master data and relationship data within the organization, supporting KPI reporting, and developing models, dashboards, and workflows for performance management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage item creation, pricing, and assortment data accuracy.
- Serve as the SPOC for the Master Data and Performance Team on SAP system.
- Support Master Data Management strategy to ensure data standardization, quality, and governance, providing a reliable source of truth.
- Participate in data quality improvement initiatives and ensure smooth master data integration operations.
- Control data redundancy, ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Resolve data quality issues through error detection, correction, and process improvements, collaborating with SMEs and data stewards.
- Perform data quality reviews, data cleanup, system profile maintenance, and dashboard reporting.
- Contribute to projects across multiple functions and markets, ensuring alignment with business and IT requirements.
- Support internal audits with documentation and analysis.
- Develop risk-based testing approaches translating business needs into data design.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in data integrity and processes.
- Automate and enhance reporting of performance metrics using Power BI, developing relevant reports and insights.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Minimum 6 years in Master Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality domains, with experience in MDM tools.
- Strong SAP skills; experience with Looker or other BI tools.
- Advanced Excel skills, comfortable handling large datasets.
- Engineering or Business Master’s degree.
- Experience in Retail or FMCG, with cosmetic market knowledge a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, resilient under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to support emergent issues, think critically, and solve problems analytically.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a dynamic environment.
