MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient‑centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team.
  • Ensure evidence‑based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards.
  • Ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement.
  • Manage allocated clinical and non‑clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care.
  • Monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute.
  • Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field.
  • Desired: ONS certification or any other relevant oncology credential.
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certificate.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior oncology nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
  • Desired: 5-10 years senior oncology nursing experience.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation).
  • Presentation skills.
  • UAE Labour Law.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Cost management principles.
  • Demonstrate nursing functional competence (nursing practice).
  • Ability to manage meetings effectively.
  • Quality management and governance standards and best practice.
  • Risk management principles, systems and best practice.
  • Skilled in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical procedures.
  • Stock control principles and management.
  • UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements.
  • Workforce planning and scheduling.
