Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of newborns with serious health issues
  • Diagnosing medical conditions and formulating appropriate treatment plans
  • Administering life‑saving interventions and ensuring the continuous monitoring of critically ill infants
  • Collaborating with pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists to provide holistic care
  • Communicating with families regarding their infant's health status and treatment options
  • Engaging in clinical research to enhance neonatal care practices
  • Participating in teaching and training programs for medical students and residents
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Neonatology
  • Board certification in Neonatology is required
