What You’ll Do

Would you consider yourself an adept job search advisor, coach, and mentor? If so, join our team as a Career Services Senior Specialist. Career Services (CS) within HR supports transitioning staff through career coaching and advisory, leveraging our extensive network of alumni, headhunters, and long‑standing relationships with employers across the Middle East. CS also comprises two additional verticals—Executive Placement Services (EPS) and Alumni Relations (AR)—which further strengthen our support model.

In this temporary part‑time role, you will provide career coaching and advisory services to BCGers past and present, supporting their career progression within BCG or in the external job market. You will deliver personalized, high‑quality career guidance to BCG staff, including members of BST, BCG X, Platinion, and the BCG alumni community.

You will support transitioning consultants as they reposition themselves for their next career step through tailored career advisory services, including:

  • Conducting structured career assessments
  • Supporting individuals in defining professional goals
  • Advising on career transitions and job search strategies aligned with individual objectives and market conditions

You will also support coachees with the following:

  • CV writing and LinkedIn profile optimization
  • Interview preparation, networking strategies, and salary negotiation coaching through targeted coaching and mock interview sessions
  • Insights on industry and regional job market trends to help individuals navigate the market effectively

You will actively engage with headhunters, employers, and alumni networks to facilitate job placements
and enhance career development opportunities. This includes:

  • Building and maintaining strong employer and search partner relationships
  • Identifying and matching transitioning consultants with relevant opportunities within the employer network

In addition, you will ensure that career services resources and tools remain current and impactful by:

  • Managing and updating career services platforms such as the Career Services Hub and CS/ Alumni newsletter
  • Maintaining templates and job search materials
  • Continuously enhancing the overall user experience of Career Services offerings

Overall, your role will ensure seamless, professional, and discreet career advisory services across the Middle East region.

What You’ll Bring
  • A degree from a college or university, ideally with a specialization in business psychology or HR management
  • Approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally within an internal talent acquisition function or recruitment role
  • An established professional network of search professionals and corporate recruiters
  • The experience, gravitas, and judgment to coordinate with senior stakeholders on sensitive and confidential HR and placement matters
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Who You’ll Work With

You will work within the Middle East Career Services team, reporting to the Career Services Senior Manager. You will regularly interact with consultants across all cohorts, non‑consulting teams, BCG alumni, the client network, and Career Services colleagues regionally and globally. You will also collaborate closely with Executive Placement Services (EPS) and Alumni Relations (AR).

Additional info

Please note that this position is offered on a 60% part‑time basis under a fixed‑term contract ending on 31 December 2026.
