The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced M&A Strategy & Transactions professional to join our high-performing team. As an M&A Manager, you will assist clients in assessing the strategic fit of a business by analyzing transaction aspects, projecting synergies, managing the deal cycle, assisting in negotiations, and conducting financial modeling.

You may also advise C-suite executives and boards on evaluating strategic alternatives in the context of transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead transactions across the client portfolio, prepare and review client reports and documentation for fundraising, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Participate in business development activities, including preparing pitch books and marketing materials, and meeting with clients.
  • Originate and deliver transaction ideas, identify opportunities, and leverage relationships.
  • Project manage transactions, ensuring timely delivery and quality of client outputs, managing counterparties and advisors.
  • Understand key business drivers, predict and manage issues and risks with insights and advice.
  • Develop and mentor junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and supporting team growth.
Skills and Attributes for Success

Experience in corporate finance within an investment bank, professional services firm, or boutique, with a track record on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, including fundraising. Strong numerical, financial, and modeling skills, with a solid understanding of financial statements. Commercial judgment and creative problem-solving abilities are essential.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field from a reputable university.
  • 7-8 years of experience in an M&A environment, including transaction execution roles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality professional documents.
  • Flexibility to travel (approximately 25-75%).
