Job summary

A leading infrastructure company in Dubai is seeking a skilled professional to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within projects. The role involves maintaining up-to-date records, providing progress reports, and ensuring compliance with local standards. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. A valid UAE driving license is required. This position is full-time and does not offer remote work.

Job description

Responsible for overseeing the coordination of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems within the project.

  • Maintain up to date records of MEP reports installation schedules and management of Work orders from client.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the project manager and client regarding the status of MEP works.
  • PM and CM scheduling and submission to client for approval. Planning of work resources with the requirements.
  • Ensure that all MEP work complies with local codes and standards and maintain proper documentation for inspections and approvals.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to find solutions to problems ensuring minimal impact on the project timeline and close out of individual WOs.
  • Liaise with subcontractors vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Coordination with client engineers for the report verification.
  • Address any issues that arise during installation such as conflicts delays or quality concerns.
  • Ensure that the project team follows safety procedures and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate the commissioning of MEP systems verification of the handing over reports and documents for the assets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in electrical / mechanical engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity with Infrastructure companies
  • A Valid UAE driving license
