Job summary

A leading global EPC contractor is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Dubai to supervise mechanical works, including piping, installation, and welding. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a preference for ADNOC project experience. Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, familiarity with welding standards, and strong safety understanding are essential. Qualifications

Job Description

• Supervise mechanical works: piping, equipment installation, welding, and alignment.
• Review mechanical drawings, datasheets, and procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors and other disciplines for smooth site execution.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality control standards.
• Monitor progress, prepare daily reports, and resolve site issues.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
• ADNOC project experience is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, and equipment installation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and isometrics.
• Familiarity with welding standards and NDT procedures.
• Understanding of safety and permit-to-work systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic mechanical software tools.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
