Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai is looking for a skilled Mechanical / Fluid Simulation Engineer with expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experience using Hexagon Cradle simulation tools. The successful candidate will conduct advanced simulations, develop numerical models, and collaborate with teams to support design optimization. A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CFD modelling and numerical simulation.
  • Strong command of Hexagon Cradle software suite.
  • Solid understanding of multi-phase flow modelling and coupling techniques.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical / Fluid Simulation Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), particularly in the modelling of flow phenomena, including single-phase and two-phase (disphasic) coupled flows. Experience with Hexagon Cradle simulation tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced CFD simulations using Hexagon Cradle tools.
  • Develop and validate numerical models for monophasic and multiphase flows.
  • Conduct coupled simulations involving fluid-structure interactions or multi-physics environments.
  • Analyse simulation results and prepare detailed reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support design optimisation and product development.
  • Ensure simulation accuracy, stability, and computational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in CFD modelling and numerical simulation.
  • Strong command of Hexagon Cradle software suite.
  • Solid understanding of multi-phase flow modelling and coupling techniques.
  • Proficiency in meshing strategies, turbulence modelling, and solver configuration.
Preferred Skills (a plus)
  • Experience with ANSYS Fluent and / or COMSOL Multiphysics.
