Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Design) in Dubai. In this role, you will develop and supervise mechanical designs for major infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with quality and local regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in mechanical systems, proficiency in CAD software, and knowledge of NFPA regulations. This position involves collaborating with a team and delivering technical presentations, making effective communication and problem-solving skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of detailed design experience on Mechanical systems for drainage and sewerage.
• Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
• Knowledge of NFPA regulations and local authority standards in the GCC, preferably in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise the creation of Mechanical engineering designs for large infrastructure projects.
• Prepare design reports, tender documents, and secure design approvals.
• Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designers and Junior Engineers.
