Job Overview

Secondary Mathematics Teacher – Sharjah, August 2026 start. Contract: 2 years. Curriculum: IB MYP / IB DP / Australian. Salary: Competitive, tax‑free, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics across the Secondary School. Deliver engaging, concept‑driven lessons and develop strong problem‑solving and inquiry skills aligned with the IB MYP and/or IB DP frameworks.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with degree‑level certification in Mathematics and QTS or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of post‑qualification teaching experience in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, USA, or Canada.
• Experience teaching IB MYP and/or IB DP Mathematics highly desirable.
• Australian curriculum experience highly sought after; alternative curriculum experience with evidence of excellent teaching practice is also encouraged.
• Previous international teaching experience welcomed.
• Previous EAL teaching experience highly desirable.
• Key skills: teaching experience, subject knowledge, qualifications (BA Hons QTS, BEd, BSc Hons QTS, PGCE, QTS), university‑level education.
