A global engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a Materials and Corrosion Lead Engineer for its large-scale projects. In this role, the engineer will focus on metallic materials and corrosion, including selection and calculation. The Global Projects Centre (GPC) is Subsea 7's centre of excellence for the execution of its largest projects worldwide. Subsea7 is hiring a Materials and Corrosion Lead Engineer within the Materials, Welding and Coatings department where you will be responsible for providing support to projects and other departments for all questions pertaining to metallic materials (carbon steel, stainless steels, nickel base alloys) and corrosion (materials selection, CO2 corrosion, H2S corrosion, SCC).
This role provides exciting opportunities to be involved throughout all stages of projects with activities related to Flexibles, Rigid Flowlines, PIP, Subsea structures, Offshore/Onshore Fabrication and Installation.
