POSITION SUMMARY

Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimal service and meet guest needs. Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories, stock, and requisition supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.

Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearances are professional, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive relationships with colleagues, support team efforts, and respond appropriately to concerns. Ensure quality standards are met; identify and suggest improvements for efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information in various formats; visually inspect tools and equipment for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift objects up to 50 pounds; handle objects requiring fine motor skills; navigate narrow or elevated spaces; ascend/descend stairs and ramps; reach overhead and below knees, including bending and twisting. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year.
  • License or Certification: None required.
