Position: Mason Foreman for Civil Road Project

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mason Foreman to join our team for a civil road project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction with a proven track record of managing and supervising a team of masons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of masons on the construction site
• Ensure that all work is carried out according to project plans, specifications and safety standards
• Monitor and control the quality of work performed by the masons
• Train and mentor new masons on the team
• Schedule and assign tasks to masons ensuring timely completion of work
• Order and maintain an adequate supply of materials and equipment needed for masonry work
• Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential safety hazards and take corrective actions
• Collaborate with other foremen and project managers to ensure smooth progress of the project
• Keep accurate records of work progress, materials used and labor hours
• Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members to provide updates and address any issues that may arise

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mason Foreman in a construction or civil engineering project
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of masons
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials and tools
• Familiarity with construction plans and specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred
