Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Plan, lead, organize, and manage the operations of CIB & PB in line with bank policies, procedures, regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements. Assist in completing CIB Operations Process related financial transactions daily, enhancing operational quality and efficiency by providing improvement suggestions and support to GTB, Global Cash Management, FI / NBFI, Government clients, and Personal Banking. Support all activities necessary to ensure the service delivery processing activities of the team are completed within the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding turnaround times, volume, and quality. Assist the team in solving day-to-day problems and implementing continuous improvement projects across the team.

Key Accountabilities
Team Supervision (for team leaders and supervisors)
  • Organize and supervise the work of the assigned team to ensure efficiency and compliance with operating procedures and policies.
  • Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to support team development.
  • Promote the organization’s values and ethics to foster a value-driven culture within the team.
  • Guide and share knowledge with junior colleagues to facilitate achievement of team objectives.
Budgeting and Financial Performance
  • Monitor the financial performance of the area versus budgets and report variances to management.
  • Implement policies, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance and deliver quality, cost-effective services.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, considering global standards, productivity, and cost reduction.
Reporting
  • Prepare timely and accurate sectional statements and reports to meet department standards and policies.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in Business Administration & Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking operations and team management.
