About the business area
The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. In this role, your key responsibilities include
- Lead the segment excellency portfolio including overall liability, assets and wealth book growth in order to enable the achievement of the established targets and objectives
- Manage the portfolio and initiate portfolio actions (in consultation with Business Intelligence Unit), in order to help achieve portfolio Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), increase customer engagement, ensure quarter on quarter growth in Net Promoter Score (NPS)
- Formulate, develop and oversee customer facing tactical campaigns in order to create awareness and grow the segment excellency portfolio
- Coordinate and manage the key relationships with ADCB’s internal stakeholders (Product team, distribution channels, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing etc.) for the coordination of assigned portfolio related programmes, processes and initiatives to ensure that these relationships continuously serve the Bank’s best interests and support the achievement of the objectives
- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
- Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
- Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank’s standards
- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service. Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
- At least 4 years of experience in Banking/financial services
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce or Business
- Administration or relevant specialization
- In depth technical knowledge of Retail Banking products and services
- Numerical and financial analysis skills

- Competitive Salary: The indicative pay range for this role is AED 19,000– AED 31,500 per month. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans.
