Responsibilities

  • Design and implement compliance framework aligned with UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor RERA & SLD, and conduct impact assessments.
  • Develop compliance policies, training programs, and conduct investigations.

Skills

About:

Job Purpose:

To safeguard Alef's market position and reputation by building an integrated compliance program that ensures full adherence to UAE regulatory requirements. The role delivers comprehensive compliance assurance across all business operations while fostering a culture of integrity and proactive regulatory engagement.

Key Accountabilities:
Compliance Framework & Strategy
  • Design and implement Alef's compliance framework aligned with UAE regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • Develop the annual compliance plan with clear priorities, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
  • Establish compliance monitoring programs and testing protocols for consistent oversight.
Regulatory Intelligence & Implementation
  • Monitor RERA & SLD, and other regulatory developments affecting Alef's operations.
  • Conduct impact assessments and implement necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Manage all regulatory reporting, submissions, and disclosure requirements.
Policy Governance & Communication
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and control standards across the organization.
  • Implement comprehensive policy communication and training programs for all employees.
  • Establish and oversee the policy exception management process.
Compliance Assurance & Testing
  • Execute compliance testing programs to validate control effectiveness and regulatory adherence.
  • Investigate compliance incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and ongoing monitoring of third-party relationships.
Stakeholder Advisory & Reporting
  • Provide strategic compliance advisory support to business units and project teams.
  • Report compliance status, emerging issues, and program effectiveness to senior management.
Compliance Investigations & Resolution
  • Lead complex compliance investigations and regulatory breach analyses.
  • Implement remediation plans and track corrective actions to completion.
  • Maintain incident documentation and ensure proper resolution reporting.
Third-Party Compliance Monitoring
  • Conduct risk-based due diligence on vendors, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor third-party adherence to Alef's compliance standards and contractual obligations.
  • Develop assessment frameworks for ongoing third-party compliance validation.
Educational Qualifications, Work Experience, and Skills Required:
Educational Qualification & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), with a Master’s degree (LLM) and/or CAMS or CCEP certification.
Work Experience
  • 8-10 years in compliance roles within regulated industries.
